Dr. Dykstra attended the annual Entomological Society of (ESA) meeting held this year in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He made two presentations entitled “Pheromone deposition on insect sensilla- electrostatics” and “Cat flea larvae (Ctenocephalides felis) are disrupted by stray electromagnetic fields emanating from appliances.”

Dr. Dykstra gave a presentation at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera in Gainesville, FL at 12 p.m. entitled “Can Lepidopterans smell odors like scientists claim?”

Dr. Dykstra attended the Society for Scientific Exploration annual meeting in Charlottesville, VA.  He gave a presentation entitled, “Disproving the Current Theory of Insect Olfaction: Temporal Evidence.”

Dr. Dykstra attended the Association for Chemoreceptive Sciences conference in Sarasota, FL. He presented a poster entitled “Movement of Pheromone Inside Insect Olfactory Sensillae.”
