The laboratory was awarded another patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office entitled “Insect Trap with Reflective Interior Walls” (Patent #9,775,334)

May 11, 2017

The first spinoff product involving innTrap® technology (Electrap) received its second international award. This was awarded in Milan, Italy from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization- Innovative Ideas and Technology in Agribusiness.

Dr. Dykstra was invited to present at the Back to Your Roots Annual Workshop in Saskatoon, SK, CAN. The title of his talk was “Farming Beyond the Textbooks”. The workshop took place at TCU place, Saskatoon’s Arts and Convention Centre.
